Project space MALONIOJI 6 invites to participate in a time lapse created by Vsevolod Kovalevskij.
Exhibition open from NOW untill 11th of September.
Participating runners/pushers of time: Vsevolod Kovalevskij and others.

In every time lapse one can see a new change in space.

READY, STEADY, BOOM. You start your life. TIME TO START YOUR LIVING
READY, STEADY, BOOM. You start to run. TIME WILL MAKE YOU NUMBER ONE
READY, STEADY, BOOM. Bambi is sad. MOMENT IN TIME AND BAMBI IS DEVASTATED
READY, STEADY, BOOM. You are out of time. AND YOU START ALL OVER AGAIN….
TIME is running a lap with you or you are running with it? Time is measuring your stress, time is here and there. WHO IS RUNNING? YOU or TIME. TIME IS RUNNING LAPS and you are just a projection of TIME. KILOGRAM HAS A PHYSICAL FORM AND FOR TIME WE ARE ITS PHYSICALITY. WE THINK OF IT, WE RELY ON IT. AND THUS IT MUST BE. But what happens in LAPS/E. IT PASSES QUICKLY IT PASSES SLOWLY IT STOPS AND MAKES ITS MOVES THAT YOU NEVER KNOW HAVE HAPPENED………….
Vsevolod Kovalevskij (g. 1988) graduated from MA in Photography and Media Arts in Vilnius Academy of Arts. Activelly participates in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad: Dimensional Verge, National Gallery of Art, Vilnius (2015); Story of untold, gallery The Bookstore foundation, Amsterdam (2015); Unanswered Q, CAC, Vilnius (2014); Life on Mars, London (2014), From Dusk till Dawn, CAC, Vilnius (2013); etc.
Both biographical and social critics themes are common in his ouevre, but the most characteristic experimental works are those in which relationships of space and time are being reconsidered using only features common to certain media forms. V. Kovalevskij uses various means of expression and understands himself more like a mean to separate the reality from the real.
Exhibition is supported by Lithuanian Council For Culture and Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.

Vsevolod Kovalevskij (g. 1988) Baigė fotografijos ir medijos meno magistrą Vilniaus Dailės akademijoje. Aktyviai dalyvauja parodose Lietuvoje ir užsienyje: „Dimensijos ribos”, Nacionalinė dailės galerija, Vilnius (2015); „Story of Untold” galerija „The Bookstore foundation”, Amsterdamas (2015); „Neatsakytasis Q“, Šiuolaikinio meno centras, Vilnius (2014), „Life on Mars“, Londonas (2014); „Nuo sutemų iki aušros“, Šiuolaikinio meno centras, Vilnius (2013) ir kt.
Jo kūrybai būdingos tiek biografinės, tiek socialinės kritikos temos, tačiau charakteringiausi eksperimentiniai darbai, kuriuose, pasitelkiant tik konkrečioms medijoms būdingas savybes, permąstomi erdvės ir laiko ryšiai. V. Kovalevskij naudoja įvairias raiškos priemones ir save traktuoja labiau kaip priemonę, kuri leidžia atskirti realybę nuo realaus.
Paroda iš dalies remia Lietuvos Kultūros ministerija ir Lietuvos kultūros taryba.
